Announcement

New Website

The new website will soon be live and this will therefore be the last update to the existing website as I am leaving for overseas today. Please advise Ken Oxby of new and amended events and any photos for the new site. Ken's email is PCO@forrestersbeachprobus.org.au
The new website will use the same web address so members should not need to change anything to access this exciting new website

Garden Getaway with the Quinns

Update 54 people have paid their deposits
Balance of $400 pp needs to be paid by Sept meeting
Please check list at back of room to confirm whether twin or double room is required
At September meeting there will be two lists at back of room when everyone will be required to make a decision on the Wildwood lunch on the tues and the Hartley Café lunch the following day

EFT Payments

All Events will be assigned a 3 character code and this must be used when making an EFT payment to the Club. Members need to enter this code together with their surname in the payment description e.g. 220 Thomas. EFT Codes will be shown for every Club Event advertised on the website.

Please only pay for one event in a payment or reconciliation becomes very difficult.

Please DO NOT email Treasurer or Convenor regarding an EFT payment as the Treasurer will notify the Convenor based on the Code entered.

No receipts will be issued by the Club for EFT payments. Your receipt will be your entry on your Bank Statement.

Members are reminded to send all photo submissions to both the Newsletter Editor and the Webmaster

Meeting Reminders - Please Remember .....

To wear your name badge to all Probus meetings and functions.
To follow the club's dress code.
To register your attendance at the meeting.
To request leave of absence if away for two or more consecutive meetings.
To advise if it is essential to leave the meeting early.
To book in for the lunch as you arrive at the Meeting.
To turn off your mobile phone or put it on silent during meetings.
To give your suggestions to a Committee Member or use the Suggestion Box

Photo Submission

Would people submitting photos of Probus events please remember to send them to both of these people:-

Please include a descriptive caption for each photo in your email.

DropBox - As an alternative to emailing, we have set up a "DropBox" that can be used to upload photos to the club. Click here for details on how to use it. This will mean you do not have to attach photos to emails but please advise both of the above people when they are in the DropBox!!
