The Canadian Rockies With Alaska Cruise
Sunday 18th May - Monday 2nd June 2025
Overview
Step onboard the iconic Rocky Mountaineer train as you journey into the
very heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This awe-inspiring
experience is paired with an Alaskan Inside Passage cruise, where you
sail among towering glaciers onboard Holland America’s ‘Koningsdam’
ship.
Your adventure begins in Calgary, Canada with a morning drive to
explore the turquoise Lake Louise and the breathtaking mountainscapes
of Banff. Set off on one of the world’s most beautiful road trips as
you journey along the Icefields Parkway, through Jasper National Park,
towards the Columbia Icefield. Admire jaw-dropping scenery, cascading
waterfalls and sweeping valleys with views of Crowfoot Glacier, Bow
Summit and Mistaya Canyon.
Return to Banff to board the Rocky Mountaineer train, delight in
SilverLeaf service which offers panoramic views, all meals onboard,
beverages and more. You’ll wind through mountain passes, lush forests,
the remarkable Spiral tunnels and rocky lakeshores. As you travel
through these remote regions to Kamloops, keep an eye out for wildlife
including the elusive bear, moose, deer and coyote.
Explore the highlights of Vancouver on a full day of leisure before you
board Holland America’s ‘Koningsdam’ ship to cruise Alaska’s famous
Inside Passage. Experience stunning wildlife and glacial fjords framed
by snow-capped mountains as you cruise to Glacier Bay’s National Park
and beyond. Admire the twin Sawyer Glaciers in Tracy Arm Inlet and
listen to the creaks and groans of the centuries-old ‘living’ ice in
Glacier Bay. Encounter historic Tlingit totems and artistic works in
Ketchikan, step back to Skagway’s gold rush days and visit Juneau,
Alaska’s remote capital city. Watch for humpback whales and playful
orca as you return to Vancouver through the protected waters of
Alaska’s Inside Passage.
This incredible journey includes return international full-service
flights, 2 days onboard the Rocky Mountaineer train in SilverLeaf
Service, a 7-night Alaska Inside Passage Cruise with Holland America, 6
nights of accommodation, 24 meals and more.
Want more? Upgrade your onboard Rocky Mountaineer experience to

authorisation (eTA) before travelling to Canada by air. An Electronic
Travel Authorization (eTA) is an entry requirement for visa-exempt
foreign nationals travelling to Canada by air. An eTA is electronically
linked to a traveller’s passport. It is valid for up to five years or
until the passport expires, whichever comes first. If you get a new
passport, you need to get a new eTA.
United States
If travelling on an Australian passport, an ESTA (Visa Waiver) for the
USA is a strict requirement when travelling to or flying through the
USA. Once a USA ESTA Visa Waiver is issued it is valid for 2 years or
until your passport expires (whichever is sooner) and will allow
multiple entries into the USA.
For information on ESTA eligibility or to apply, please visit: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/
Please note: Due to recent changes in the USA Immigration policies, the
